Ciao! I’m Floriana but you can call me Flo! Born in Southern Italy, loving life in Amsterdam since 2019.
After a master in Business Administration at Bocconi University in Milan, an exchange in Mumbai in India and a decade of international adventures as a business analyst for multinational companies in the fashion industry, I decided it was time for a change.
People tell me I am a dreamer: I prefer dream-maker. I imagine what others don’t see, shape stories into spaces, and turn unconventional ideas into one-of-a-kind experiences.
So, I traded spreadsheets and meetings for flowers and parties, and launched wonderflo (link to homepage)! I studied at the best academies for event organization and floral design across Europe and Asia, each one shaping a different side of my creative and professional identity. From the structured approach to events of Emedea Academy in Italy to the botanical artistry of Boerma Instituut in Aalsmeer, the flower capital of the Netherlands. I refined my sense of style at McQueen’s in London, explored delicate aesthetics with Mika Otani School in Tokyo, and reached a new level of creativity at La Fiorellaia in Brescia. These experiences didn’t just teach me how to design an event or a floral arrangement, they’ve enhanced my mindset and provided a unique perspective that I now bring into every event I craft.
Today, my background and my studies help me manage complex projects with precision and vision, combining my analytical mindset with my love for beauty, to design immersive weddings, explosive private parties and vibrant corporate events. Being an Italian event planner living abroad gives me a competitive advantage: I blend the typical Italian warm soul and sophisticated touch with the myriad stimuli of the buzzing, innovative and cosmopolitan Amsterdam. I speak the international language of different cultures, and I understand how to combine them together in your celebration. I'm not just a planner, I'm your planner!

What Inspires Me
People are the real fuel for my creativity. Their stories, dreams, and wild ideas push me to create floral designs, weddings and events that feel alive, meaningful, and full of personality.
But my inspiration also comes from art, design, music did you know I'm a saxophonist? travel, architecture, books, nature, and the incredible people I meet along the way. It’s all about finding beauty in the unexpected and turning it into something unforgettable.

Honesty
I speak my mind, frankly and politely. But only after carefully listening to what others say. I am all for an open and transparent communication: I do that in my private life as well as in my business, with customers and partners. I am a strong believer that true success stems from blending clear rules, realistic expectations and a client-planner chemistry. All this can only be built through a free flow of ideas, opinions and constructive criticism. This is why for instance my pricing is simple and I always operate in the interest of my clients, without shady practices. I think long-term and do not take shortcuts.

I have a strong work ethics. I can be trusted to do what I say I’ll do, consistently and responsibly. Clients can count on me to follow through on commitments and deliver, even under pressure. Some say this is a quiet value. I say it is a powerful one to ensure good vibes and a lot of fun throughout our journey together. I'll be there for you every step of the way, thinking along with you and a bit outside the box when needed, guiding your decisions and executing to the highest standards.
Craftsmanship
Every story is unique, and such should be an event. Following the values of the world-renowned Italian craftsmanship, I work in an artisanal way: low volumes, high quality. This is why I take on a limited number of projects every year: good things take time and so does creating one-of-a-kind events, finding the inspiration and daring to go where no one else did before. To me, luxury means curated, unique, innovative and purposeful.
