McQueens London - Training
I didn't start here. Before Wonderflo, I spent years as a data analyst, surrounded by spreadsheets, not stems. Switching careers to become a florist wasn't a soft pivot; it was a decision to chase something that actually demanded everything from me. Turns out I'm the kind of person who goes all in, or not at all.
That hunger took me to McQueens Flowers in London for their Events & Celebrations course: a week-long, hands-on intensive taught by florists who've built installations for award shows and red-carpet galas. No shortcuts: classic candelabras, oversized urns, foam-free mechanics. The unglamorous engineering behind the arrangements that actually hold up under pressure, at scale, in real venues.
I didn't just want to learn how to arrange flowers. I wanted to learn how the best in the world build them. So I invested the time, the money, and the energy to sit in that room and take it apart, piece by piece. This is what that looked like.
