Before saying "I do" by the Adriatic, Elena and Ben gathered their closest loved ones for an intimate aperitivo at Lido Bambù in Monopoli. We wanted the styling to feel fresh, bold, and utterly unexpected. A celebration that matched their adventurous spirit.

Watermelon became the hero: sliced, halved, and arranged with flowers to create a playful contrast of reds and citrus yellows. Fruit (and vegetables) didn't just look beautiful: they told a story of summer, freshness, and joy. We paired these with unusual florals - spiky and feathery celosia, delicate alstroemeria, elegant iris and "delicious" gerbera Pasta pomodoro - that you'd never guess belonged at a beach gathering. Each arrangement sat in soft ceramic vessels, echoing the sandy, organic feel of the location.

The result was a design that felt both sophisticated and fun - unexpected enough to make guests stop and admire, but approachable enough to reach for a drink and relax. It's the kind of floral design that celebrates the couple, the moment, and the beauty of doing things differently.
